PERSONAL INTERESTS

Coming from Calabria in Southern Italy, I have been fortunate to have travelled extensively, taking every opportunity to meet people and to learn about different ideas, methods and cultures. This curiosity is also reflected in my intellectual passions, specifically a long term interest in the Welfare State reform and International politics. Through the combined affect of my intellectual interests and personal experiences, I am a committed believer in the future of the European Federation.

Main research interests: Social capital, income and social inequalities, comparative social policy, pension and labour market reforms, public management, Community development, urban sociology, European Union integration process, international politics, Business strategy, Public management, economic and social History.
